हाल के दिनों में फिल्म अभिनेत्रियों, सार्वजनिक जीवन में मुखर महिलाओं को लेकर ‘सेक्सिस्ट’ टिप्पणियों में वृद्धि हुई है. हाल में ही घटित हुए दीपिका पादुकोण और अलका लांबा प्रकरण को लेकर पत्रकार स्वाति अर्जुन ने यह छोटी सी टिप्पणी लिखी है. आपके सोचने, विचारने के लिए- मॉडरेटर.

पिछले हफ्ते की शुरुआत हुई थी दीपिका पादुकोण की ट्वीट से और खत्म हुआ अल्का लांबा के एफआईआर से।
मुझे नहीं लगता कि हाल फिलहाल के दिनों में दुनिया के दूसरे सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अंतरराष्ट्रीय नेता के भारत दौरे के बाद भी, हर तरह की मीडिया के प्लैटफॉर्म पर इन दो-तीन नामों से ज्य़ादा हिट्स, एयरटाईम या स्पेस किसी और ख़बर को मिली हो.
अगर फिल्मों पर केंद्रित किसी अख़बार या मैगज़ीन के पन्नों को भी पलट लें तो पाएंगे कि पिछले कुछ महीनों में भारतीय फिल्मों की अभिनेत्रियों ने कई मौकों पर अपनी स्थापित ईमेज से बाहर आकर क्रांतिकारी कदम उठाए हैं.
ये कदम क्रांतिकारी इसलिए हैं क्योंकि ये उन अभिनेत्रियों या पब्लिक पर्सनैलिटी के लिए कंफर्ट ज़ोन से बाहर आकर किया गया व्यवहार है. कम से कम 3 महीने भर के अंतर पर ही अभिनेत्री परिणिती ने दो दफ़ा किसी मतांध पत्रकार को उसके ऊठपटांग या यूं कहें सेक्सिट सवालों के लिए आड़े-हाथों लिया है.
पहली बार उस जागरूक पत्रकार ने परिणिती के ही फिल्म, ‘शुद्ध देसी रोमांस’ के किरदार को आधार बनाकर, लड़कियों के शादी पूर्व यौन-संबंध बनाने के मुद्दे पर मेडिकल सवाल पूछ लिए थे कि क्या इससे आपको एड्स होने का खतरा नहीं है….????
तब परिणिती ने उस पत्रकार महोदय को अपने जवाब से लाजवाब कर दिया था. दूसरा सवाल कुछेक 15-20 दिन पहले किसी पत्रकार ने उनसे मेनशुरल साइकल पर पूछ लिया….जिस पर एक बार फिर वे परिणिती के कोप का शिकार हुए.
चूंकि परिणिती के साथ जो हुआ वो एक छोटे से प्रेस कॉफ्रेंस का हिस्सा था इसलिए वो इतना ज्य़ादा चर्चित नहीं हुआ, लेकिन जब देश के सबसे ज्य़ादा बिकने वाली अंग्रेज़ी की अख़बार ने दीपिका पादुकोन को चुनौती देने की कोशिश की तो उन्हें मुँह की खानी पड़ी. एक बार नहीं, एक हफ्ते में तीन बार…..माध्यम कुछेक शब्दों वाले ट्विटर से लेकर फेसबुक पोस्ट और इंटरव्यू थे.
चरित्र हनन की कुछ ऐसी ही कोशिश आम आदमी पार्टी की नेत्री अलका लांबा के साथ करने की कोशिश की गई और उन्होंने इसका ऐसा मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया कि लोग लंबे समय तक याद रखेंगे. अल्का लांबा ने उनके साथ verbal sexual assault करने वालों की लिस्ट फेसबुक से स्क्रीन शॉट निकाल कर पुलिस के साथ पेश किया और सभी assaulters के खिलाफ़ एफआईआर दर्ज कराने में सफल रहीं.
एक पखवाड़े पहले, सेक्स वर्कर के तौर पर अपनी सेवा देने वाली राष्ट्रीय अवार्ड विजेता अभिनेत्री श्वेता प्रसाद के समर्थन में पहले साक्षी तंवर फिर कई बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्रियाँ सामने आयीं. कुछ वक्त पहले जब करण जौहर के शो में शामिल हुई अभिनेत्री अनुष्का शर्मा के प्रोस्थेटिक पाउट पर टीका-टिप्पणी की गई तब वे भी मुखर हुईं…..और सबसे मज़ेदार जवाब रहा आलिया भट्ट का जब उन्होंने खुद पर वायरल हुई ट्वीटर जोक्स का जवाब एक म्यूज़िक एलबम से दिया.
सुनने में ये महज़ बातें लगती हैं, लेकिन ये घटनाएं द्योतक हैं बड़े बदलाव की, आज भारतीय फिल्मों की अभिनेत्रियाँ अकेले में घुट-घुट कर जीने वालों में से नहीं हैं, बल्कि अपनी ओर उठे हर सवाल का जवाब देने में सक्षम हैं. वो समय गया जब कोई अभिनेत्री सिल्क स्मिता हुआ करती थीं या फिर दिव्या भारती और मीना कुमारी….अगर कम्यूनिकेशन के नए साधनों ने आपको टीका-टिप्पणी करने का अधिकार दिया है तो इन पब्लिक पर्सनैलिटिज़ को भी एक साधन दिया है अपने प्रशंसकों से सीधा संवाद करने का….जिसका ये लोग बखूबी इस्तेमाल कर रही हैं.
अगर हम पश्चिम की तरफ देखें तो पाएंगे कि वहाँ भी हाल-फिलहाल के दिनों में कई बार नामी-गिरामी अभिनेत्रियों की अंतरंगता को भंग करने की कोशिश की गई है, उनकी निजी तस्वीरें और वीडियो को लीक कर के…लेकिन सल्यूट उन सभी को कि उनमें से कोई भी डिप्रेशन का शिकार नहीं हुई, बल्कि उन लीक हुई तस्वीरों को own किया और कहा कि, इसे देखकर आप खुद के बारे में अच्छा फील करेंगे, आखिर अंतरंग पलों में हम सबसे ज्य़ादा खूबसूरत दिखते हैं और खुद के बारे में अच्छा फील करते हैं.
सिनेमा हमारे जीवन का अभिन्न अंग है और इनमें काम करने वाले कलाकार एक बड़े जनमानस के रोल-मॉडल. जिस तरह से ये कलाकार अपनी निजता और आत्मसम्मान पर हो रहे चोटों का बखूबी जवाब दे रहे हैं, उम्मीद करनी चाहिए कि इससे एक बड़े वर्ग में सकारात्मक असर होगा. कई बार जो काम कैंडिल मार्च और रैलियाँ नहीं कर पाते…वो ही काम किसी जानी-मानी हस्ती या हमारे रोल मॉडल द्वारा उठाया गया एक छोटा प्रतीकात्मककदम कर जाता है.
और रहा सवाल औरत के शरीर पर हो रहे हमलों की, तो ये याद रखना बेहद ज़रूरी कि अक्सर उनकी शुरुआत वर्बल यानि शब्दों और ऑगलिंग यानि नज़रों की हिंसा से होती है, इसलिए ‘Nip In The Bud, Is The Need Of The Day.’
