(बिहार जाने वाली ट्रेनों के जनरल बोगी में यात्रा करने वालों के प्रति)
पहली बार
चम्पारण
किस ट्रेन से गए थे
गाँधी?
‘सत्याग्रह’ पकड़ी थी, तो
गोरखपुर उतरे या
छपरा
आम्रपाली थी तो
कितनी लेट
तीसरे दर्जे के डिब्बे में
जगह पाने के लिए
गाँधी! कितने घंटे पहले
स्टेशन पर आ गए थे
तुम?
लाइन में कितनी देर खड़ा रहना पड़ा था?
कस्तूरबा भी रही होंगीं
एक बेटे को गोदी उठाए
और दूसरे की अंगुली पकडे
मोटरी-गठरी भी रही होगी साथ
लाइन सीधी कराने में
आर.पी.यफ. के सिपाही ने
कितनी बार डंडे फटकारे थे?
गालिओं की गिनती नहीं की होगी
तुमने?
शायद
योग भी करते थे तुम
हाँ, बताओ मूत्रयोग
में कितनी पीड़ा हुई थी
पादते-गंधाते लोगों के
बीच!
तीसरे दर्जे के आदमी को
अपनी पेशाब रोकने में
महारत हासिल होती है ना!
टिकट होने के बाद भी
जी.आर.पी. और टी.टी. बाबू को
कितने रुपये दिए थे?
टिन के डब्बे के साथ
कपडे के थैले का अलग
हिसाब भी तो जोड़ा
होगा टी.टी. बाबू ने
गाँधी!
तुम्हारा तीसरा दर्जा
सत्याग्रह, जननायक
सम्पूर्णक्रांति, सप्तक्रांति
सदभावना, वैशाली
और न जाने कितनी ट्रेनों
के जनरल डिब्बों से कितना
मिलता था
