छूछी भी लगती है मीठी

सोंधी सोंधी लगती रोटी

मैं भी रानी तू भी रानी
कौन भरे गगरी में पानी
गगरी खुद जाये पनघट तक

हमने उस पर चलना छोड़ा
रोता रहता इक्के वाला
मैंने वचन उसे दे डाला

खाया और खिलाया थोड़ा

नजर लगी थी सबकी छुपछुप

नन्ही गुमसुम सीधी सादी दिखती माचिस

सहल बहुत है यहाँ वहाँ बस आग लगाना
लेकिन मुश्किल अपने दिल में आग जुगाना

दो कौड़ी की है पर हमें परखती माचिस

चुहिया इक दिन गयी डाकघर
बड़े लिफाफे में जा छुप कर
दे डाले कुछ प्यारे बच्चे
खत पहुँचा तो वे भी पहुँचे
पत्र सँभाले चला डाकिया
था वह जिसका उसे दे दिया
पाने वाले इसको पढ़ कर
देना तुम जल्दी से उत्तर

छड़ी पुरानी है पर सुंदर
दादाजी चलते हैं लेकर
हरदम साथ लगी रहती है
चलते बात किया करती है
सोचूँ उनके सो जाने पर

ऊबड़ खाबड़ जीवन पथ पर

करती भैंस जुगाली है
समय अभी कुछ खाली है
भर जाता है जब भीतर

मन से एक पहेली रचना
कोई नयी नवेली रचना
