इसे मेरी दुष्ट-बुद्धि की बदमाशी न मानें, बल्कि मेरी पवित्र खोज मानें कि मैंने इस महीने आई हिंदी की तीन लघु लोल पत्रिकाओं में छपी समीक्षाओं में एक शब्द 15 बार ‘रिपीट’ होते देखा। यह परम पद है: ‘टकराना।’ ‘टकराने’ के अनेक संस्करण हैं। कहीं ‘टकराते हैं।’ कहीं ‘टकराती हैं।’ ‘टकराए हैं’ इत्यादि। इस किस्म के प्रयोग से मुझे कुल मिलाकर 11 बार ‘टकराना’ पड़ा।
भाषा के नए पंडित मानते हैं कि अगर किसी रचना में कोई पद बार बार रिपीट हो, तो समझिए कि वह पद उस लेखक के लेखन की कुंजी है। छायावादी कविता में ‘पीड़ा’, ‘दुख’ के साथ ‘मधु’, ‘मधुर’, ‘मदिरा’ जैसे शब्द बार-बार पढ़ने पड़ते थे। बाद की कविता में ‘कलगी’, ‘तुर्रा’, ‘मैं’, ‘तुम’, ‘आम’, ‘आम आदमी’, ‘जन’, ‘जनता’ ‘लोग’, ‘अकेला’, ‘अकेलापन’, ‘कुंठा’ आदि बार-बार पढ़ने को मिलते रहे। इन दिनों ‘टकराना’ मूलक क्रिया पद विविध रूपों में पढ़ने को मिलता है।
जैसे- एक काव्यसंग्रह के समीक्षक ने लिखा: ‘इनकी कविताएं अपने समय और समाज से ‘टकराती’ हैं। वह अपने समय की चुनौतियों से लगातार ‘टकराए’ हैं’। एक दूसरे समीक्षक ने लिखा: ‘उनकी ये कहानियां यथार्थ से ‘टकराती हैं।’हिंदी में ‘टकराने’ की ऐसी ‘प्रीतिकर’ लोकप्रियता को देखकर लगता है कि इन दिनों हमारा साहित्य हर समय हर बात से हर दिशा में टकरा रहा है। साहित्य एक टक्कर है। एक्सीडेंट है।
लेकिन विचित्र किंतु सत्य यह है कि टकराते रहने के बावजूद साहित्य की बॉडी पर एक खरोंच तक नहीं दिखती। टक्कर के कुछ अनिवार्य परिणाम होते हैं। जब दो टकराते हैं, तो चोटिल भी होते हैं। टकराने के बाद पुलिस आती है। केस बनते है। बॉडी ‘रिपेअर’ को जाती हैं। जेबें ढीली होती हैं। टक्कर बीमा होते हैं। यह सब सड़क का यथार्थ है। सड़क साहित्य है। तभी वहां लिखा रहता है कि ‘तीव्रगति से वाहन न चलाएं’, ‘एक घंटे में 40 या 60 किलोमीटर रफ्तार से चलें। ’या कि ‘सावधानी हटी दुर्घटना घटी।’ साहित्य की सड़क पर ऐसा नहीं लिखा रहता। वहां बिना लाइसेंस वाला भी नई गाड़ी को सौ किलोमीटर की रफ्तार से दौड़ाकर दो-चार को कुचलता रहता है। साहित्य की गड्डी अनाड़ी हाथों में पड़कर हमेशा एक्सीडेंटल होती है।
हर टकराने वाले को चोटें लगती हैं। कुछ-न-कुछ टूटता-फूटता है। कार का ही नहीं, कार में बैठे लोगों की बॉडी का भी डेंटिंग-पेंटिंग कराना पड़ता है। सड़क की टक्कर के बाद केस, पुलिस, कोर्ट-कचहरी होने लगती है। साहित्य के ‘टकराने’ से यह पता पता नहीं चलता कि कौन, कब, किससे, क्यों टकराया, क्या टूटा-फूटा? केस क्या बना? क्या स्पीड ज्यादा थी? क्या साहित्य आउट ऑफ कंट्रोल हो गया था? क्या साहित्य के ब्रेक फेल हो गए थे? क्या कुत्ते को बचाते हुए आप फुटपाथ पर चढ़ गए थे? कितनों को कुचला? आप नशे में थे? क्या साहित्य की सेल्फ ड्राइविंग करते थे या आपका ड्राइवर चला रहा था? रात के कितने बजे थे? साहित्य के किस अंधेरिया मोड़ से लौट रहे थे? हिंदी साहित्य में ‘टकराने’ की लोकप्रियता का हमारे जीवन में तरह-तरह की कारों की लोकप्रियता से सीधा संबंध दिखता है। इसे हम साहित्य में ‘मारुति सेंट्रो होंडा’ फैक्टर कह सकते हैं। साहित्य के उदारीकरण की एक रचनात्मक विधा है: एक्सीडेंट!
